Restored near original 1960 Corvette in the manufactures color of Honduras Maroon with White Covers. 1 of only 544 produced in this color combination. It has been graded at a #2 restoration and has been pampered and garaged ever since. Only 3,500 miles since extensive restoration with restoration and maintenance receipts included.
Mechanical updates include new 350 CI 290 HP Chevrolet small block with correct Corvette finned valve covers. Holly 670 4-barrel carburetor on Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, electronic ignition, new exhausts system. New radius rod bushings with correct rebound straps, New aluminum radiator, rebuilt starter and generator. Rebuilt Muncie M-20 four speed transmission with correct shift linkage. New clutch assembly and a new 3:70 posi-traction rear end. Although engine contains many new parts great care was taken to maintain original look.
Cosmetic highlights include new period correct black carpet and new black soft top. Quality paint job and finish with original trim work and door kick panels. Professionally rebuilt gauges, clock, radio and speaker (including correct tach drive). Optioned with a Wonderbar radio, sun visors, windshield washer, courtesy light, heater, Firestone spare, correct style jack, jack handle, lug wrench, tools, trunk mat, seat belts, heat shielding, air cleaner, distributor, spark plug shields, under hood decals, guide outside mirrors and T-3 headlights. Paint, Chrome and overall condition are excellent. I also have the period correct white wall tires, rims and original hubcaps
This Corvette had never been hit as confirmed by prior owners and restoration professionals. It has won numerous car show awards.
The car needs nothing and is mechanically sound, you will feel comfortable driving anywhere.
