I purchased the vehicle in late 2011 after it had been barn stored for almost 20 years and at that time it had 64,400 original miles on the odometer.
After re- commissioning the brake and fuel systems and an oil and filter change the car ran smoothly and I have added over 5000 miles, including parts of Route 66 with only service items being changed. It is a true survivor and a beautiful cruiser. It has had a small amount of cosmetic paint before my ownership but the interior and engine is original. Some farm dust from storage for all those years can still be seen in the depths of the trunk if you look hard. The engine is a 292 V8 with three on the tree. It has recently had all new wheel brake cylinders and some brake lines and the system was purged and new fluid added.I am selling it to make space for my British car collection and it will give someone the opportunity to buy a well preserved time capsule at classic car entry level price. It has been kept in a heated garage during my ownership I require just $7500.00
