All original numbers matching 1979 Trans Am Y84 Special Edition. This car is a true survivor and is fully documented with original window sticker all the original paperwork and Y84 stamped on the cowl tag. Original paint and interior down to the working Am Fm 8 track. The original T-top bags are in great shape. All new Walker stainless steel exhaust and the tires have less than 500 miles on them. The car had been sitting in a garage for several years and was leaking oil in the usual areas. The engine was pulled and all new gaskets, seals and bearings were installed. The block was professionally cleaned and new cam bearings and freeze plugs were installed. Only the valve seals were required for the heads. The oil pump and water pump were also replaced. The cam and lifters were replaced to stock specs. I have receipts for all the parts and work. The subframe bushings have been replaced. I have been watching these cars for a few years and it seems it’s getting harder to find a true Special Edition that is numbers matching and all original. The only rust area that I have found is at the bottom of the front fender and is shown in the photos.
