1971 Chevy Nova Super Sport: ''TRUE SUPER SPORT''
We just acquired 2 really nice cars from a guy who has been
building/restoring cars for himself and others for a very long
time. These 2 cars were in his personal collection that he owned
for a very long time. He originally purchased this real Super Sport
Nova from the 2nd owner who had since 1974. It had been sitting in
a barn for over 20 years and in need of full restoration.
A full frame off, nut & bolt rotisserie restoration was completed
in 2011 which included a show quality ''Cortez Silver" 2 stage
paint job. He told us that he built it for his wife because she had
one just like it in high school. He also said that she probably
only drove it 1000 miles since it was completed but always stored
in a climate controlled garage.
The engine is not original but is a professionally rebuilt 355 c.i.
small block with 2:02 angle plug heads topped off with MSD Atomic
fuel injection for quick start ups and throttle response. It runs
strong and sounds nasty! It is backed by it's original numbers
matching M-22 4 speed transmission and it's original numbers
matching 12 bolt posi-traction rear with 3:73 gears.
Other features are power steering, power disc brakes {front only}
in-dash tach, original console with gauge package, original am-fm
radio, flowmaster dual exhaust, original 14'' 5 spoke super sport
wheels with new B.F.G. tires.
This real Super Sport Nova was built with attention to detail and
to be driven. Everything works as it should. This is a very,very
nice car !! DON'T MISS IT !!
