buying pleasure. Presented in all of its glory is one of the nicest
Ford Fairlane Town Sedans possibly in existence. This car was in
storage after only 60k of driving by its original owner. During the
last 10 years the cars most recent owner spent $20k+ bringing this
car back to its original glory with some tasteful upgrades along
the way. The exterior was fully restored including every piece of
chrome and trim as well as new glass. The car looks like it just
rolled out of the showroom in 1956!

The exterior on the car is in great condition and is solid as a
rock without a single flaw. The car is finished in TwoTone Diamond
Blue and has been carefully restored and looks great and turns
heads everywhere it goes. All body lines are correct. The car has
been buffed and hand polished to a smooth as glass shine. All
chrome and stainless is in spectacular restored condition and must
be seen to be believed. This car is very solid with no rust in the
floors, or wheel wells whatsoever. The inside of the rockers do
have some rust damage but nothing structural to speak of. All glass
is crack and chip free. The rubber seals are soft and pliable as
they should be. All of the emblems and trim are beautiful and all
of the lenses are crack free. This car is something that must be
taken in at length. The more time you spend with it, the more
special you realize this car truly is!
The interior is in awesome shape all around. All the seats are
restored using correct style cloth and are in spectacular
condition. The seating surfaces are flawless as well as the door
panels and carpet. This Galaxie is finished in the very stunning
two tone blue interior. All four of the door panels and stainless
inserts look good. The gauges are absolutely gorgeous and all
gauges work correctly. All of the switches and lights function
correctly. The trunk compartment has been beautifully restored to
go with rest of car and includes color matched spare.
Mechanically, this Big Ford runs great. The motor provides ample
power to move the car around comfortably. The car starts right up
and shifts smooth as silk. The brakes are all in good shape and
stop the car with ease. This car was previously owned by a Ford
fanatic. He went through all systems and checked for operation and
changed all fluids fresh. All correct accessories are in place and
the motor has been beautifully preserved and still retains mostly
FOMOCO hoses and parts. The car was fully tuned up and all new
belts and hoses installed.
All in all, this is a very nice Ford Fairlane that can be driven
and enjoyed with out worry. With its classic body lines and
trademark slab sided looks, this car will forever remain a classic.
