Art & Speed is happy to introduce this rare second-generation 2000
Dodge Viper RT/10 Roadster (convertible). With less than 35,000
total Vipers built across all generations, there were approximately
only 840 RT/10 convertibles produced in 2000. Making this one even
rarer is the Steel Gray color, which is a one-year-only hue! With a
mere 8,300 miles on the odometer, this one is practically brand
new, and it shows.
Three-piece 18-inch HRE wheels shod with brand new Nitto tires add
to the uniqueness of this Viper, further setting it apart from the
others. The powertrain has not been modified, so you can expect 450
horses from the 8.0-liter V10, which means a 0-60 time in just
under four seconds. The second-generation Vipers came standard with
a six-speed manual transmission, air-conditioning, power windows
and locks, and an Alpine sound system with a CD player. An updated
safety feature for 2000 includes a driver's side airbag.
Upon arrival at our showroom, we hand polished the finish of the
44-inch tall sporty roadster. Both tops are present and are in
excellent condition. Sliding into the black leather bucket seats,
you are greeted by an interior reflecting the low miles on the
odometer. Gripping the black leather-wrapped steering wheel, you
know you're in a car that means business. You'll only want to let
go to row through the gears with the short-throw shifter for the
six-speed manual trans. The Viper is a driver's car - it has
luxury, but it also has brute-force power - and the manual trans
lets you be one with the machine. This super-low-milage RT/10 is
genuinely a pleasure to drive and ready for the road. You can drive
it right out of the Art & Speed showroom right to your garage!
