This is a 1949 4X4 Willy's Pick-up Truck, a "TRUE BARN FIND". I purchased the vehicle from a farmer who had the Willy stored in a barn for over 29 years. He never registered the vehicle. He only used it for taking pictures with his grandchildren during Christmas and to go fishing on his cattle farm. This truck is absolutely beautiful. We have been restoring the truck for the past 7 months to its original glory. The following are some of the work that has been done to the Willy but not limited to: Service converted to alternator to 12 volt system, completely re-wired, service break system, new pads, all springs replaced on pads, new master cylinder, new E-brake, service front hubs as well. Rhino lined inside floor pan and railing on bed of truck, interior has custom birch wood paneling throughout. The bed consists of wood panels: individually taken out, sanded and re-stained- they are gorgeous! New battery installed, vehicle has its original manual and service guide. Original flat head 4- cylinder under the hood. A new starter and solenoid was installed. The vehicle has a PTO, 4X4, and high/low levers. Shifting is on the column (three on the tree). This vehicle is exceptionally clean as well as finished!
