This 1966 Coyote Legend Bronco is currently being restored at to a very high level. The Bronco we're building is NOT the Bronco in the first few photos. The one we're building is going to be set up similar to this one, only the paint will be a slightly different color. It has a custom $20K Legend four link soft-riding suspension with brand new King 2.5" coil-over shocks in front, it's also getting new King 2.5" coil-over shocks in back. This is the softest riding suspension system you will find on a Classic Bronco. This Bronco has a brand new Gen 2 Coyote engine with a 4R70W four-speed automatic transmission, plus an a new Atlas 2 3.0 ratio two speed aluminum shift-on-the-fly transfer case. It will have new Wilwood disc brakes front and rear with a Hydro boost power brake system. The new Currie Dana 44 front axle will have 4.56 gears with a new true-trac in front with a new Currie Ford 9" True-Track Posi-traction unit in back, both will have new hardened axles, new bearings, and new seals.
This Coyote Legend Bronco will be brand new throughout. This Bronco body. has been painted in a 1959 Porsche 356 color called Meissen Blue. It will have new show quality chrome bumpers in front and in back, (with an optional Rock Solid rear bumper that will be match-painted with a swing out tire carrier and a matching spare). This Bronco has new 2.5" King 12" coil-over shocks and Eibach coil springs in front, with rear trailing arms, and it will be getting new 2.5" King shocks and Eibach springs in back, plus all new bump stops, sway bars, and limiting straps, for 10"-12" of front wheel travel and 12"-14" of rear wheel travel.
The new steel Bronco body was built using all new Licensed Ford parts. It will get a black Polyuria interior bed liner and will be fully under-coated with Polyuria upon completion. It can still have any wheel and tire combo you want. Right now it has stock 15x6” wheels with new hub caps with 33x9.50x15 BFG's OR go with our Old School smooth retro 17x7” wheels and 285/65R17 tires. We could cut and flare the fenders and install new match painted fender flares in front and in back to accommodate 305/65R17 BFG All Terrain tires and 17x9" black Fuel wheels. It will receive all new grade 8 and stainless steel hardware throughout.
The interior will be new diamond stitched or pleated leather Legend high back back bucket seating in front, the rear seat will either be a factory rear seat or a folding rear seat with head rests. It will have matching pleated door, rear side paneling plus a new tailgate panel, plus new snap-in carpet mats throughout. A black locking Icon 4x4 center console will house a new Pioneer head unit that has bluetooth, with hands free speaker phone system. FoCal component speakers will be flush-mounted in the rear side panels as well as in the front kick panels, powered by a 5 channel amplifier with a new Centek wire harness, a new RR woofer console with a 12" Alpine sub woofer inside (mounted with raiser brackets underneath the rear seat) with Baja Designs 20" stealth light bar tucked up under the front bumper, plus 2 back up lights under the back bumper (reverse lighting) which will be hooked up to the reverse light system. It will also have a new interior LED light, plus new LED lights throughout. It will have a 6 point roll cage, powder coated black or match-painted with retractable front and rear seat belts, plus roll cage to windshield frame braces and all new rubber and seals to help prevent rattles. The dash will be a custom Legend dash with new head light switch, new wiper switch, a new blue-lit white face Dakota Digital or Classic Instruments speedometer with 4 round air conditioning vents in-dash, plus a new A/C system. The glove box will be either a black locking glove box or a stock Bronco glove box with a factory liner, we have not decided on this yet.
