1971 Jeep CJ5 Dauntless with Buick 225 3.7L V6 - RARE! Brought to
you by Zoom Classic Cars. Jeep is currently stored in Rochester,
NY. Equipped with the Best engine jeep ever installed in their
vehicles! Only 1700 miles since rebuild. 4x4 drivetrain is offset
to the passenger side. High Torque Engine with 90 pound flywheel.
This Jeep is Originally from California. Its 5 inches shorter than
a 1972. Original Steel Body and is in great shape, no cheap steel
aftermarket parts. T14 3 Speed manual transmission Dana/Spicer 18
Twin Stick Transfer case (4wd/2wd and High/low) never been off road
Since Rebuilt in 2010 doesn't wobble on the highway or at any
speed! Top Speed is 58 MPH with the installed 3:73 gears. Front
disc brakes. VERY Strong Clutch. Original PTO system, Drop down
Tail Gate is fully functioning NO Back Seat Lap Belt Seat Belts.
Storage compartment under passenger seat. Jeep was originally green
Made by Kaiser Jeep NOT AMC. Have original air filter housing that
goes with it. VIN Number is 8305037371017 and BreakDown is as
follows: 83 = Universal CJ5 05 = Open Body 0 = Universal (dealer
optioned) 3 = LDH California fuel evap control 7 = V6 225 with
emission control. This Jeep has had a ton of upgrades with lots of

Center Cup Holder in between seat, new Saginaw Steering Box, new
High/Low beam switch Upgraded Radiator Overflow Tank ,New Oil Pump
Gear Rebuilt Radiator Core. Still has original tanks (top and
bottom). Upgraded Battery Power Terminal Block New Bump Stops, new
Superwinch Locking hubs Locking Gas Cap, new hood latches, Hinges
and tie offs. Some minor cosmetic issues - Windshield Frame has
some minor holes in it, driver's side front fender is cracked
(didn't want to buy an aftermarket fender for it) Paint Job is not
fresh (2002) except the hood, that was blended to match. Some
Patina and minor rust as shown on some bolts but it's minimal.
Still looks sexy though Reverse lights are on a toggle switch on
the dash. First Gear is not synchronized with 2nd and 3rd. You
ALMOST have to come to a complete stop to shift into 1st. That's
