GarageKeptMotors.) Porsche's 1995 911-or the 993
generation-advanced technology and performance, but... remained
true to the rear-engined sports car that launched in 1965. Car and
Driver, 1994 That summary of Car and Driver's test of the 1995
Porsche 911 captures why this particular 911 series is in such
demand from collectors: Balance. Advanced technology with true 911
character. Earlier 911s tended to be a bit light on the former;
later series were arguably lighter on the latter. So enthusiasts
generally agree: the 993 series definitely hit a sweet spot in the
more than half a century of 911 sports car history. It didn't hurt
a bit that the 993 was the first 911 with air conditioning that
actually worked! Offered here is a low-mileage 1995 911 Carrera 4
Cabriolet in classic black-over-black leather. Documented by
Carfax, the car has traveled just 36,000 miles since new, a well
below-average of under 1,500 miles per year. Owned in Florida,
North Carolina, and Michigan, the car's history shows no accidents
or unusual repairs. Appropriate service by authorized Porsche
dealers is documented. While the more than 185 high-definition
photographs and the short walk-around-and-startup video available
on the GarageKeptMotors website showcase this Porsche 911 Carrera
in detail, we encourage in-person inspections at our Grand Rapids,
Michigan showroom. Please call to arrange an appointment in
advance, or get in touch by phone or email if you have any
questions. The exterior paint is in overall excellent condition
with some forward-facing surfaces (notably the front bumper cover
and mirror caps) showing light wear and minor road rash consistent
with the car's age and mileage. Factory-applied rear wheel-edge
protective coverings are in place. The black fabric convertible top
shows no tears or unusual wear. Factory Carrera branded Cup wheels
are in place with Michelin all-season performance tires mounted.
Behind the wheels, the silver Porsche logo disc brake calipers grab
cross-drilled and ventilated rotors. Window glass and headlight
lenses are undamaged. The car's rear speed-activated pop-up spoiler
operates properly. Inside, the updated 993-series design is
pleasing to the eye and more comfortable versus earlier 911
generations. Black leather seats show only minor wear consistent
with age and use, but there are no tears or rips. Rear seats appear
as-new. The lower door sills show no evidence of damage often found
from scrapes caused by inattentive entry. The factory
anti-buffeting wind screen is in place and operational. Embroidered
Porsche-logo floormats are in place over original carpeting. The
dash shows no cracking or sun damage, and the classic 911
instrument-cluster shows no fading and the glass is clear. The
6-speed manual transmission shifter exhibits no wear marks often
seen arising from owners wearing rings on their right hand. The
audio head unit has been upgraded with an aftermarket unit offering
satellite radio connectivity, and backed up with a professionally
installed JL Audio amplifier located in the car's frunk. Porsche's
Drive Block factory-standard anti-theft immobilizer system with
keyfob activation is in place and operational. The ashtray shows no
sign of use. Under the rear hood, the 270-horsepower 3.6-liter
flat-six boxer engine and associated components all appear complete
and unmodified. Air conditioning functions as it should.
Underneath, there is no evidence of rust, and the 4-wheel drive
system is tidy. All protective panels are in place and undamaged.
