This T-Bird has beautiful lines and although I love it, it's time to let it go. I am the Third owner, and I've owned this car for 5 years. The previous owner owned it for 32 year and did the restoration 25 years ago. A complete restoration motor and Tran rebuild, with matching numbers, exhaust, interior, top, exterior everything. Original color was Rangoon Red now it is Lipstick Red (this should have been the color from birth) body has beautiful lines and the bright work is in fantastic condition. The 65 Bird has the sequential turn signals, The cougar gets credit for them and they were later found on the Carroll Shelby, but the 65 T-Bird was the first to use them. I did a few repairs, I rebuilt the brake proportioning valve, rebuilt the carburetor, replaced a wing window, all fun stuff. Power plant is a 390 cu with matching numbers as I understand it early in this cars life the first owner overheated the motor so it was competently striped down and bored .030 than completely rebuilt they also rebuilt the trans at the same time. This car purrs like a kitten and gets plenty of thumbs up and head nods.
This is a great car to tool around in and I will miss it but we're moving and I can't take it along (not enough room at the new place)
