Vehicle Description
Those wheels are a dead giveaway that this 1978 Ford F-150 Custom
Restomod is something special. And you really get to showcase them
the way you want with the adjustable air ride suspension. Plus, a
terrific color combo, A/C interior, overdrive transmission, and
shining fuel-injected V8 power create an awesome total package.
There is something quite alluring about the full presentation.
We're told that before this was a restomod, it was a one-owner
pickup looked after by an older gentleman. The factory-correct
two-tone Wimbledon White and Dark Jade Metallic have been preserved
to reflect that legacy. So the presentation has just the right
touch of age so that you get to tell this story with pride. But
this is more than just a nice classic. The color-matched liner
paint in the bed is a clue there's something more going on here.
And while those 20-inch solid steel wheels go so nicely with the
paint, we all know they are a bright announcement of a modern
investment.
More of the great color coordination await you inside. We know this
was born with a distinct green interior, but there has also been
plenty more invested here. The bench seat is custom finished in a
supple two-tone green and white, and there are even integrated cup
holders. Matching door panels, fresh carpeting, a nice headliner,
and a custom green a chrome steering wheel makes for a
well-coordinated and premium package. You've got terrific comfort
features, like cold-blowing R134a air conditioning and an upgraded
AM/FM/CD stereo with USB input and Bluetooth. The tilt steering
column helps you see the upgraded Dakota Digital gauge package. And
there's a remote control for the full air ride suspension. So you
can watch jaws drop as you dial-in the ideal stance at every car
show and cruise-in.
This the kind of truck that you're going to be showing off, and so
they made sure the engine bay is ready for primetime, too. There's
a ton of polished components, like the valve covers, air topper,
alternator, compressor, pulleys, and more. The consignor states the
low odometer (under 550 miles) represents the build and engine
install, and this has the fresh look to really back that up. It's a
347 cubic-inch performance crate motor from BluePrint Engines. This
features aluminum heads, Hedman headers, and topped with a Holley
sniper electronic fuel injection system you control from the cab.
It fires right up, like a proper FI machine should, and while this
is a strong and powerful pickup, there's more going on here. The
transmission is a four-speed automatic with highway-friendly
overdrive, and this truck stays running cooler with a large
aluminum radiator w/electric fans. So it was built for easy
driving. There's even an upgraded four-link rear end, power
steering, and power brakes w/discs up front.
Complete with owner's manual, this is an awesome restomod with a
cool story and all the best in power and comfort. It's a true total
package, and that's why we know you have to hurry if you want to
take it home. Call today!!!
