There are many reasons that make the 1982 Collector Edition
Corvettes a special part of Corvette history. Included in those
reasons is that 1982 Collectors Edition was the first in the
Collector Edition series. This particular 1982 Chevrolet Corvette
Collectors Edition has been very well cared for and maintained and
is showing just over 48000 original miles. Powered by the 5.7L 350
Cu In V8 and backed by the 4 speed automatic transmission with
overdrive. A couple nice upgrades to the 1982 Collectors Edition to
the mechanics was the electric fuel injection, Gymkhana suspension,
the overdrive automatic transmission, and rear aluminum control
arms. Stopping power comes from the 4 wheel power disc brakes. This
particular Corvette runs and drives very well. The interior and
exterior also has special upgrades due to the Collectors Edition.
The Silver Beige Metallic, with special stripes, and the
turbine-vane wheels were 2 of the exterior upgrades and are in good
condition. The interior received a special multi colored Silver
Beige leather interior that is also in above average condition. The
Collector Editions were also fully loaded with options including,
air conditioning, power windows, power brakes, power steering,
power antenna, rear defogger, tilt-telescoping steering column,
glass T-Tops, six way power drivers seat, power locks, dual power
mirrors, and leather wrapped steering wheel. The Collectors Edition
Corvettes were introduced after 1982 at the final model year of a
platform run and introduced and were used to introduce new
technology. Here is a chance to own one of those rare and special
additions to the Corvette history. This particular Collectors
Edition Corvette is ready for those T-Tops off sunny drives.
