1979 MERCEDES 450SL CONVERTIBLE 2 OWNER, ORIGINAL CALIFORNIA CAR NO
RUST This 1979 Mercedes sl was bought new in California by a doctor
who owned it up until the late 90s and sold it to another gentleman
who had it ever since the car moved down to spokane wa when its
owners moved down to Wa in the early 00s most of the cars time in
Washington was used as a summer time driver and parked away in the
airplane hanger for fall winter and spring until 2016 the car was
parked in the owners airplane hanger due to not being able to drive
it anymore, The car has always been serviced at a Mercedes
dealership every 3/5000 miles just recently in 2015 the timing
chain and the rest of the motor where rebuilt at a Mercedes
dealership it was parked away in 2016 so the motor has very low
mileage under 10,000 i have most of the services recorded it has
brand new tires on it with paperwork as well, The paint and body is
in amazing shape it is believed to be original paint and no sign of
a repaint no rust no dents has a few dings, interior is in really
nice shape dash has a couple cracks (showin in pictures) door
panels are really nice seats are in good shape has a set of sheep
skin seat covers, the carpet is also in really good shape, non of
the interior wood is cracked or faded, the headliner in the
removable hardtop is in perfect shape the convertible top is in
great shape, and the removable hardtop is in excellent shape as
well, the drive on this car is absolutely amazing starts right up
no hesitation purrs like a kitten transmission shifts amazing no
oil leaks it is a really good survivor that has been taken care of
the car is all original the only aftermarket parts on this car is a
late 80s head unit and speakers (that still works) both of the
power windows work as well, please look at all the detailed
pictures on how nice this car really is the Mercedes sl will only
go up in value this is a great investment on a great well taken
care of car
