Description:

Talk about a real Gem! This 1971 Super Beetle Runs Excellent, recently purchased from a large estate sale, it truly is a time capsule. I believe it is still sporting the original tires! The Mileage is believed to be original as well. Fires right up! Runs excellent. No major body issues, the underside is solid. Overall a great collector piece.

Interior:

The interior is original and has held up well, please take a moment to view our test drive video and walk around. All of the gauges work as they should and there are no foul odors. Door cards show very well as do the gaskets and seals. All the glass is in great original condition. The headliner is in great shape. Radio is original but does not turn on. All dash items work as they should. All windows go up and down with ease.

Exterior:

The exterior is easily a 7-10 in regards to paint quality. It shows very well. All of the chrome is in good condition. Minor imperfection on drivers quarter, and rear decklid. (photos in gallery and pointed out in the video) Overall a very sorted body, even the rockers have no bubbling or issues.

Drivetrain:

Powered by 1600cc motor it runs excellent, it actually is quite peppy! Trans shifts perfect, with no pop-outs. The clutch is easy and does not slip. The Overall mechanicals are very nice. Underside is solid. It has not been doctored up with spray paint or cover up coatings. Tires look original, if purchased at full asking we will include a new set of tires with a professional balance job. The great part about this VW is the handling! It has a strut and spring combo up front so it handles very well, compared to its predecessors.

Quality Disclaimer

Due to our inventory size, we are unable to drive every vehicle for long distances. We also cannot guarantee that every gauge, light, window, horn, option, function, etc., will work as it should. Please check your local state inspection requirements. We do our best to inspect these vehicles in every detail and note any imperfections in the advertisement.
