1963 Pontiac LeMans Restomod This triple black car in race mode is
a 9 second car. This shows the car in race form with slicks. Full
race motor, fuel cell, 10 point full roll cage, two seats. Turbo
Hydro with in dash stall control. Fully Tubed - finest workman ship
We also have street tires and side pipes. Much of this build was
done by Zombie Racing in Flint, MI. The car features Mustang rack &
pinion, Chassis-Works A arms. Strange disc brakes & Koni adjustable
coil over shocks on all corners, Ten point cage TIG weldwd and
certified to 7.50 seconds. A custom frame (original 2x3), Morrison
backhalf with Top Gun four link. It uses a DynoTech drive shaft,
Moser 9' Ford center with 5.14 spool & spline Strange axels. Weld
wheels front & rear. Engine is a 455 Pontiac block bored to 4.210;
Lifter valley reinforced; Lifter bores w/ bronze bushings; Rods are
Bill Milles aluminum, 7.125'; Pistons are JE. The crank is offset
ground Pontiac, radius ground, polished, with a 3.85 stroke. The
cubic inch yield with this combination is 429. The camshaft is a
custom Cam Motion grind. Pushrods are custom CVs. The rocker-shafts
are Jesel with a 1.7 ratio. The heads are Wenzel series II that
have had significant work. The intake is a Vector Jr. w/ a Holly
1050 Dominator. Ignition is MSD 7AL with a MSD crank trigger and
shift light. Cooling is provided by a Meziere electric water pump
with a Griffin aluminum radiator. The transmission is a Turbo 400
built-up by Coan. The converter is Coan reworked by Neal Chance as
a both together unit with a 5400 stall. In the interior, all the
gauges are Autometer with a Painless wiring setup. The seats are
Jazz with leather covers. It has a five point harness by Simpson.
The shifter is from Cheeta Turbo Action with a reverse pattern. It
uses a Line lock, trans-brake and a 2 step launch control. This car
