Last of the 1950's Thunderbird's, this well optioned example is equipped with the highly desirable Lincoln 430 V8!
The paint is the original color combination of Brandywine red and Colonial white, finished in base/clear and shines very deeply, and the body panels are very clean and straight.
The big 430 starts right up, fast idles when cold, and kicks down into a nice easy idle. With power steering and power brakes, this T Bird is extremely easy, and very fun to drive.
All of the trim and bright work on the T Bird looks excellent, all of the glass is nice and the windows roll up and down easily.
All of the accessories including the heater, windshield wipers, turn signals, etc. all function as they should.
This Thunderbird carries all of it's original options, and correctly matches everything on it's data plate.
The 50's T Birds are very ornate, and have a lot to look at when at the car shows, but equally, if not more importantly, this T Bird drives very nicely. Take a long country road trip, and you can carry just about everything you own as the trunk space on these Thunderbird's are plentiful!
If you like Thunderbird's, and you want one that drives nicely, is well equipped, comfortable, and has the mid-century/space age vibe...This is the car!
