For sale is a 1971 Volkswagen Beetle Formula Vee. This bug has been
updated with bright blue paint, black trim and subtle graphics,
making it just as fun to look at as it is to drive. The new paint
and body work, all-new body rubber, seals, and side vents are just
the beginning of the restorations that have been done to this car.
Under the hood is a 1642cc dual port engine, supported by a new AA
performance aluminum crankcase, crankshaft, connecting rods, 1641
piston and cylinder kit, as well as new oil and fuel pumps, a new
air filter, clutch disc, pressure plate, fan belt, a rebuilt
generator, and a new battery and cables. And that's not all! In
other words: the previous owners gave this bug the love it
deserved, and it shows. Other things we love about this car: the
interior has been refinished in black with seats from a younger,
2001 VW Beetle. The wood steering wheel has a beautiful patina and
compliments the wood trim on the dash and glove compartment. The
window rubber is all-new, as well as the windshield, wiper blades.
And while all this newness is great, what's a classic car without a
few of its beautiful, original details? Though it wears a new set
of tires, the original 'Formula Vee' wheels are still on the car,
re-painted and polished. The car also features an Alpine CD player,
Blaupunkt 1500 watt amplifier, and six speakers to keep you jammin'
all the way to wherever the road may take you.
