National are exactly the same cars, except the Grand National only
was offered in all black. While Grand Nationals are on the rise in
value/collectibility, the twin brother T-Type has fallen under the
radar, even though they are mechanically identical. They are built
on the same platform and have the same engine. The only difference
is cosmetics. This T-Type is a one owner car that has been cared
for by a very particular owner who was always extremely careful
with the car. In fact, for 33 years he kept a detailed log of when
the car was fueled, how much fuel was added, when it was washed,
and when it was stored. The car was always garage kept, and it
shows. This car left the factory in Dark Red Metallic paint over a
Red cloth interior. The interior still smells new, and features
bucket seats, three spoke T-Type steering wheel, tachometer, and
boost gauge. 15 Aluminum wheels, 3.8L Turbocharged badges, and
T-Type badging are a few small hints that this car has a potent
engine under the hood. It is powered by the same GN engine:
Turbocharged 3.8L/231ci V6 with 200hp, mated to an Automatic
Transmission with Overdrive. Some noteworthy standard features
include Power Brakes, Power Steering, Gran Touring Suspension, and
even Front and Rear Ashtrays. A few nice options are Rear
Defroster, Cruise Control, and Delco AM/FM Cassette Stereo. This is
an awesome car that has always been stored inside and is now ready
