1970 Oldsmobile 442- W30 holiday Coupe
This is a good example of a totally rust free, numbers matching survivor muscle car. Optioned with the one year only “special order, Sebring Yellow” with the correct fiberglass ram air, black hood and body striping. She was born the 3rd week in may 1970 to a LA California dealer. She lived there up to the 80’s when she moved to Rhode Island. The car had been in process of being restored in the late 90’s when it was purchased and the new owner immediately put her in storage for almost 20 years. I purchased the car approximately 3 years ago from him and among other things, have mainly restored the interior to original condition. She has a very nice “Gold” interior color throughout. Using Legendary Auto Interiors products, the Astro bucket seats have new seat foam and springs, covers, surround covers, seat hardware, tracks & headrest. New carpeting, door panels, armrests, door hardware along with new window hardware, fuzzies and rubber. The windows all roll up and down easily. The dash was painted and has new woodgrain dash, shifter and console trim. A new tic-toc-tach/clock gauge set, gas gauge. fuel and vent lines, gas tank and a fuel sending unit, heater core. A three spoke sport steering wheel with a tilt column. Overall, the paint has aged nicely and is still in good condition.
Numbers matching block, heads(F) exhaust manifolds, aluminum intake manifold, with the original Rochester carburetor & distributor, as well as the frame is date coded correctly. It has new belts, plugs, points, spark plugs/ wires and air filter. All of the new vacuum, heater and radiator hoses are the original style together with the correct clamps. A correct newer exhaust system including hangers and chrome trumpet ends. The front suspension has been completely restored with new w30 correct sway bar, rubber bushings, steering box, tie rods & idler arms.
