1979 GMC Royal Sierra. Truly a barn find, one owner truck with only
46,479 miles. Let me start by telling you that this truck was
bought new in Columbus MS, 5/8/79 by W.D. Abbott of Maben MS which
is about 40 miles from Columbus. It stayed in his possession until
his passing when his nephew inherited it. The truck sat in a small
shop for 30 years. In 2015, the nephew decided to get it back on
the road. He pulled the engine and had the heads reworked, then his
health started failing him. I purchased the truck from him in May
of this year. The engine was in the bed of the truck. I had the
block cylinders checked and put the engine back together. I
installed the engine in the truck and it runs and drives great. Now
the rare GMC Royal Sierra with all original paperwork is road
ready. All original body parts with beautiful, awesome patina. The
carpet and seats are like new. This is a once in a life chance to
own a piece of GM history. Please Note The Following **Vehicle
