information and a video. There is nothing quite like a big block
Chevelle. This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Tribute has a fresh
restoration and is ready to show! The body has recently been
stripped and painted in Cortez Silver with a new black vinyl roof.
A Super Sport style bulge hood has been added along with 17"
polished American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels with radial tires,
and a black spear that runs the length of the car to break it up
nicely. Under the hood is the real gem! A mildly built 427 CID V8
with an Edelbrock Twisted Torker 2 aluminum intake, Edelbrock
4-barrel carburetor, Yenko 427 black crinkle aluminum finned valve
covers, matching chrome and black crinkle air cleaner, chrome oil
pan, GM HEI distributor, and 4-core aluminum radiator with electric
fan to keep it all cool. The engine also received a lot of new
parts including the alternator, water pump, starter, electric fuel
pump, spark plugs, spark plug wires, battery and battery cables.
2.5" aluminized exhaust with "Heartthrob" mufflers and factory GM
style chrome tips not only look great, but provide a nice muscle
car rumble to this Chevelle! QA1 adjustable coil-over shocks have
been added for an improved and adjustable ride quality. This SS
tribute drives great thanks to a new power steering pump, power
steering hoses, steering joint, steering box, upper and lower
control arms with new bushings, and power disc brakes. The front
end has power disc brakes with a Corvette style master cylinder and
chrome brake booster. The brakes have been rebuilt with new pads,
rotors, hoses, calipers and wheel cylinders. The interior is also
in great shape and has been restored with new black vinyl
upholstery, bucket seats and a center console. An AM/FM/Bluetooth
radio with remote has been installed, but the car needs speakers.
Extra gauges have been installed to keep an eye on the big block
engine. A tachometer, oil pressure, voltage and temperature gauge
cluster make it easy to check in at a glance. A tilt steering
column makes this Chevelle even more comfortable for anyone to
drive and is fitted with an SS style steering wheel. Other various
new parts during the build include: windshield, front fenders,
radiator core support, header panel, trunk lid, front left floor
pan, one piece trunk pan, fuel tank, bumpers, door handles,
mirrors, emblems, weather stripping, bulbs and various trim pieces.
This Chevelle is highly detailed and incredibly clean everywhere
you look. The engine compartment, interior, and even the trunk are
so clean you will want to open everything up when you take this
beauty to car shows! If you're looking for a car with legendary
good looks, big block power and a fresh restoration without
spending six figures, this is the Chevelle for you! This vehicle is
