Ferrari "Superamerica", a name synonymous with ultimate luxury and
performance. In 575 form, its blend of stunning speed, elegant
design, and specially designed hardtop makes it one of the finest
convertible coupes ever produced by the Italian giant. Most notably
in the car's construction is the patented Revocromico hardtop,
utilizing carbon fiber and special electrochromic glass. Based on
the drivetrain of the 575M Maranello, the 575 Superamerica boasted
a higher output version of Ferrari's then flagship 5.7-liter V-12
by modifying the flow rate of the intake tracts and relieving back
pressure in the exhaust system. The updated engine produced 532 hp
at 7,250 rpm propelling the car to a blistering top speed of 200
mph. Ferrari happily marketed the 575 Superamerica as the
then-fastest convertible of any kind in the world.
ZFFGT61A350142819 was completed in May 2005 in Corsa Red over Black
and Red "Daytona" seats, along with a host supplemental
equipment.
Optional Equipment Totaling $40,000 Includes:
Interior Carbon Trim ($7,792)
Battery Charger + Prewiring ($880)
Daytona Style Seats ($2,703)
GTC Package w/ 19" Modular Rims ($21,837)
'Scuderia Ferrari' Shields ($1,643)
Rear Wall Leather Upholstery ($2,173)
High Power HIFI + 6 CD Changer ($2,968)
Total Window Sticker: $339,926.00
An important and highly prized feature of note is the HGTC package,
boasting carbon-ceramic brakes, titanium exhaust, suspension and
steering upgrades. The Superamerica was delivered and sold new
through Cauley Ferrari of West Bloomfield, Michigan, where it would
reside until 2010 when it relocated to Morro Bay, California. Under
active FCA member ownership, the 575 would receive thoughtful
preservation and regular upkeep, along with a Premio di Platino
award at the 2015 Ferrari Club of America Annual Meet in Monterey,
California. Additionally the car was proudly displayed at the
Tributo Ferrari Festival on Rodeo Drive in 2014. Today, the
Superamerica displays just 16,500 miles and is supported by
original paintwork, glass, trim and upholstery. Recent notable
services include an August 2018 "Major Service", which addressed,
all filters and fluids, timing belts, water pump, brake calipers,
pan gaskets and shift shaft seals, lubricate steering, valve
adjustments, ignition and emissions components, complete clutch
assembly, cam and crank seals, new fuel injectors, a/c recharge,
along with other gaskets and seals. As well as a Spring 2020 "15k
Timing Belt" service, including all new belts, bearings, filters,
and associated o-rings, gaskets and seals - using all authentic
Ferrari parts and Pakelo fluids. In addition, over $9,000 was
invested in the restoration of the cabin's "sticky" plastic items
and a meticulous reupholstery of the dashboard's leather and
padding with OEM materials. Along with a follow up detail and paint
correction. Invoices of these recent services are on file.
Both performance and presentation are on point. The car remains in
stock configuration, retaining its original Becker radio and
appointments. All lights, instruments, electrical and safety
equipment are in proper working order, the convertible hardtop
functions properly with exception to the electrochromic diming.
Bridgestone Potenza tires are dated 2015. The car is accompanied by
a dossier containing original books, keys, remotes, warranty cards
and pamphlets, as well as a copy of its original window sticker,
original Pre-delivery Vehicle Accessory Checklist (7/28/2006),
servicing invoices, 2014 Tributo Ferrari participation decal, clean
Carfax and AutoCheck reports. A Ferrari branded tailored car cover,
license plate mount with original black frames, detail kit and OBD
scanner are also included with the sale.
Fifteen years after its introduction, the Superamerica is
considered by many to be a modern classic, and undoubtedly the most
desired road-going 575 variant. The ideal GT with ample luggage
space, an innovative convertible top, and a 202-mph top speed, we
offer this Ferrari for worldwide purchase and delivery from our
Houston, Texas showroom.
