GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1979 Triumph Spitfire
for purchase. In the great tradition of British Roadsters, the
Triumph Spitfire is a no non-sense drop-top that provides the
classic British open-air motoring experience. The Spitfire's were
never known for their speed however, the Spitfire 1500 was the
higher-powered version with greater torque to make it much more
drivable in traffic. These cars are easy to work on with plenty of
parts available making them popular affordable summer cruiser
collector cars today.
This Spitfire in a energetic yellow color, with a black vinyl top
and black and white interior. This car does have what appears to be
original parts and engines. With the reliable 1.5L inline-four
1500cc engine with the 4-Speed manual transmission. This is truly a
fun car to take out for a track day or to drop the top and cruise
around in the summer. This car does need a little loving, but the
body looks great and the engine fires right and will scoot you
around where ever you need to go. Please call or email with any
questions or for additional information.
