Vehicle Description
This gorgeous, Award Winning Chevelle was built in the Flint
Michigan Plant (Flint didn't use build sheets) on the 3rd week of
September, 1969. You can tell it was one of the first 70's to be
built, by the chrome piece under the headlight bezels. Also, from
the trim tag, you can see the paint code (28) is Fathom Blue/White
Stripe and (A) is the White Vinyl Top and (791) is the White
Interior. The seats have new foam and covers, Dash is new with all
new SS gauges. This originally was an a/c car, but has been
replaced with a Vintage a/c system that is ice cold. Everything
works perfectly as it should including clock and reverse lights.
Exterior paint is flawless and has been buffed within an inch of
its life. The white rally stripes are under four coats of clear.
The vinyl top is new and perfect. The rims are the ' special option
' SS rims with the beauty rings. In the engine bay photos, you can
see it has power steering, brakes, a/c and the cowl induction
feature, which works as it should. From the factory stamp on the
block, you can see.....T 0 9 1 5 C T X which says, Tonawanda,
September 15th and CTX means....396 c.i., 350 hp & 4 speed manual
transmission. The other photo shows you....1 0 F 109337 which
is...1 = Chevrolet, 0 = 1970, F = Flint Plant and the vin# is
109337 The transmission photo shows....P = Muncie, 9 = 1969, P 11 =
September 11 and A = M20 which means this is correct for the car.
The positraction rear is a 12 bolt but has been upgraded to a
Moser, which is a stronger and beefier rear. Engine, transmission
and rear-end have been gone through, rebuilt and are in perfect
operating condition. Under the car, you can see a new exhaust
system, clean pans and frame totally rust free. In fact, there is
no rust anywhere on this car. If you are looking for a true
show-car and want to walk into a 1970 showroom to see a new
Chevelle SS 396.......this is your car. Please Note The Following
