BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this 1997 Chevrolet is clean, straight,
and true to original form. This truck has always been in the
Carolinas since it was new, so it is no surprise that it is as
clean as it is! Properly C-notched, this truck sits down low and
looks fantastic.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: While some would say white is plain or
unexciting, we think white is the perfect color choice for a
simple, clean, straightforward build like this. It looks stunning
without being too flashy! Plus, the dark window tint and white make
for an excellent color contrast. The paint is in nice condition and
is still glossy and nice with very minimal damage. There's no doubt
this truck has been well-kept.
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior is original blue cloth,
which is not only a somewhat rare color for this year but also
looks great against the white exterior. With the dark tint and dark
colored interior, cruising in this Chevy is both relaxing and
private. The seats are in nice, original condition as is the dash.
The aftermarket steering wheel is a nice touch, and ties the truck
together.
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: The engine bay is true to original form and
very clean. This truck fires right up, and the 5.7 Vortec sounds
great! While it is lowered, it still rides comfortably and handles
well. '90s GM pickups have a very distinct sound and feel, and this
truck delivers on both counts.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The tidy appearance and the
simplicity of the modifications.
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: Dark tint isn't for everyone,
but we think it adds to the experience of driving a vehicle like
this.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? The horn is the only currently known
inoperable item on this vehicle. Other than that, it just needs a
new home!
