Vehicle Description
1967 Chevrolet Impala Convertible
Why This Car Is Special
It isn't very often that we get a stunning 1967 Chevrolet Impala
Convertible equipped with a numbers matching 327CI V8 and automatic
transmission and finished in a very desirable slick black paint
job, but we have one here today for sale at Skyway Classics.
These convertible Impala's are quickly becoming very popular and
this one is superb! It is a true SS Impala verified by the VIN
#168677J230355 and was built in Janesville Wisconsin back then.
Mechanical
When you open the hood at car shows. You will see this factory
stock engine compartment with what we believe to be the original
327 cubic-inch Chevrolet small block V8 engine that had 275
horsepower.
It is painted in the correct shade of factory Chevrolet orange and
looks to have the stock original valve covers, intake, carb, air
cleaner, cast iron exhaust manifolds, power brakes, and most other
parts.
It is backed by the GM Turbo-Hydro three-speed automatic and
features a performance shifter and T-handle as well as a stout
12-bolt rear end while running those huge 5-spoke chrome wheels and
performance black wall tires.
nterior
Inside you get the great classic look that a true Super Sport
Impala SS was noted for with the white twin bucket seats and
matching rear seat, black carpeting, headliner, center console,
three-spoke Chevy SS sport steering wheel, AM/FM radio, power white
convertible top, and factory dash gauge package with tach.
Exterior
What will really get your attention when you first see this Impala
SS is the glossy black paint. It has had a complete professional
paintwork and the precision panels give the coupe the kind of
luster that really looks slick.
The '67 coupes had some of the best Coke-bottle styling straight
from the factory and this one also has great chrome brightwork on
the grille, front bumper and rear bumper, trim, as well as all the
Impala and SS emblems on the SS.. This awesome motorcar is the rare
and desired Super Sport Edition with 4-speed transmission, which is
extremely rare and seldom come on the market.
Conclusion
This incredible 1967 Impala Ss we have here at Skyway Classics has
recently been cosmetically restored and detailed and is not only an
investment grade Super Sport, but this drop-top is now ready to be
shown or driven.
It is one of the rarest and most desired Super Sport convertibles
of Chevrolet ever made and you will not be disappointed when you
come see it today.
