The J40 series of vehicles by Toyota needs no introduction also,
known as the Land Cruiser. These are quite arguably the most
versatile, rugged and dependable vehicle ever built to this day. In
1960 the J40 launched and this series was built through 1984.
Mostly built as a 2-door utility but 4-door versions and trucks
were built on this platform as well. They also had a variety of
engine options that were available depending on what part of the
world you lived. It is not uncommon to see these especially the
diesel variants still being used as daily use vehicles in literally
every corner of the globe. What we have here is a very special
unit. It has the coveted 3.4 Liter 3B with a added Turbo for the
drivetrain. This BJ was an import from Canada in 2005 and is now a
Clean Michigan titled resident. It has had some professional
tasteful upgrades done that include a 2.5 Inch lift, a full roll
cage, ARB locking rear differential, on board air, canvas soft top,
60 series Toyota power steering, turbo, custom front bumper, powder
coated frame, snorkel and more. The steel tub and doors have
fiberglass replacements and the front seats have been upgraded as
well. It all sits atop 33" BFG tires that give this thing a killer
stance. This is set up for just about anything you want to do with
it. It has a clean carfax and is ready for pure enjoyment.
