1965 White Ford Mustang Convertible
Car History
The first-generation Ford Mustang was manufactured by Ford from
March 1964 until 1973. The introduction of the Mustang created a
new class of automobile known as the pony car and the Mustang with
its long hood and short deck, was very popular and had all the
other manufacturers building their own versions to compete with the
Mustang sales.
We have a very original 1965 Wimbledon White Mustang with a black
vinyl top here at Adventure Classics.
Mechanical
Our Mustang has what looks to be the original 200 cubic inch V6
engine with its 120 horsepower from the factory and looks original
with its factory blue painted air cleaner assembly and valve cover,
and sitting in what looks like a period correct engine
compartment.
Interior
The good looking blue interior on our Mustang has blue twin front
bucket seats with a console, sport leather wrapped 3-spoke Mustang
chrome steering wheel, matching blue rear seats, factory gauges,
radio, blue Mustang floor mats, blue seat belts, air conditioning,
and is very clean and comfortable.
The door panels and headliner are also blue, the chrome sill plates
intact, and the trunk is very nice with its correct checkered floor
liner and spare tire cover.
Exterior
The great factory shade of Wimbledon White on this Mustang shows
well on and the great lines and body panels are straight as an
arrow. It is equipped with polished factory hub caps and
performance red line tires. It has very nice chrome and stainless
trim, and the great black vinyl top also.
Conclusion
This 1965 Ford Mustang Six Cylinder we have here for sale at
Adventure Classics is a very good looking classic Mustang that is
economical, great driving and handling, sounds great and runs great
too.
