BODY OVERVIEW: Being fiberglass, well-preserved Corvettes seldom
have major body damage and this car is no exception! The body is
very clean and straight, just as you'd expect a 40,000 mile car to
look.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: Much like the body, the paint is in
excellent condition. This paint appears to be original and looks
great! If you look closely, you may find some extremely minor
imperfections, but as a whole the paint is in great condition.
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: Just like the rest of the car, the
interior is original and in fantastic original condition. The
leather is showing minimal wear, even on the driver's seat outer
bolster where these cars typically show the most wear. The seats
are soft and comfortable, and the hard plastic items are all
intact. The maroon interior is a close match to the exterior paint
color and makes for a great combination!
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Under the hood, this car looks factory correct
and original. The 5.7 has a great sound to it, and fires right up!
We love original, unmolested cars here and this Corvette is a great
example. It drives as good as it looks, and is an absolute
blast.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The rarity of a 40th Anniversary
Edition as well as the unique color combination! Plus, this is a
super well-preserved car.
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: Maroon/dark red isn't for
everyone.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? The only item not functioning correctly is
the radio, which works intermittently. Additionally, the tires are
in good shape with good tread, but they are older and would need to
be replaced should this car be intended for frequent use.
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? This car is the perfect
candidate for a Corvette collector, or even someone looking for
something unique in turn-key condition for summer fun!
