1967 Cadillac Deville Convertible, this is southern California car found in Poway, California a few years ago by my client sitting at a neighbor’s house. He was in awe of the car when he saw it and had driven by it for a couple years seldom seeing it go out and knew just one day, he would be purchasing this lovely car. Well one day at a community event for the neighborhood he met the man who owned the Cadillac!!! They talked about things, the neighborhood, politics, the food at the BBQ. Not thinking much of it he knew he had to slip in it somehow and the Line arose “ya know if you ever want to sell that Caddy I might be interested” They both casually laughed it off the old man expresses to him he owned it many many years!! and nothing really came of it, till about a year later. The old man was walking his dog and going by his house and finally decided to approach his front door. A knock is all it took!! My client made him an offer and bought the car that day. It ran, drove and drove like Caddies do. As all old cars go though, some attention was needed so a repair list was put together and budget was made and exceeded. My client is quite finicky with his cars and began a very comprehensive restoration. Over the course of the next year or so he invested over 27,000 dollars to make sure things were just right, suspension, braking, drive, electronics, AC, Seals you name it the vehicle was reborn and was once again a smooth shifting, Smooth Sailing Boulevard Cruiser. He enjoyed for sometime and now has decided to move on. Leaving just a few cosmetics to be done if you wish the car is pretty-well dialed in and ready to go. After several weeks of sitting one may get a little leak on the floor but not of concern, he has driven the car many many times to various cruise nights, local events and to Palm Springs from San Diego for weekend getaways. The vehicle features a large 429 V8 and Auto Transmission loaded with all Power options including Brakes, Steering, Windows, Seats , Locks and Top . Has Cold AC, Tilt wheel and drives wonderfully The car has many many years of reliable ownership left in her and would be a gun and fantastic car to own just in time for summer top down cruising.
