1957 CHEVROLET 150 SEDAN DELIVERY ''OLD SKOOL HOT ROD''
Just in is this very nice and very cool and actually very rare {1
of 7273 built} 1957 Chevy 150 Sedan Delivery.
We were told that this car was originally bought out of the dry
southwest and built sometime ago however has recently undergone
some cosmetic and mechanical upgrades.
To start off this car is impressively rock solid & rust free
everywhere you look including the floors & frame with an extremely
straight and mostly original body.
The paint is old and appears to be lacquer and yes, it is checked
up, however it still has a good shine. Most of the chrome & trim
has been recently replaced new or polished to look new and the
weather stripping has also been recently replaced.
The interior is ''OLD SKOOL COOL'' custom made in vinyl with high
back bucket seats and a matching fold down rear seat. It really is
nice and in great condition.
Power comes from a strong running, healthy sounding 350 c.i. small
block that was recently rebuilt from a local and very reputable
machine shop. Built with all new or reconditioned internals, double
hump heads, a lumpy sounding hydraulic cam, aluminum GM intake and
new Edelbrock 4 bbl carb. All this is backed up by a tight shifting
Muncie 4 speed transmission with Hurst shifter and a new clutch
assembly. It has it's factory original rear with highway cruising
gears.
Other features and recent upgrades include, power front disc
brakes, tubular control arms, new custom dual exhaust, 15''
Torq-Thrust ''D'' wheels with radial tires and more. It also had
and still has under dash air conditioning however it is not hooked
up or connected. We do have the compressor, pulley's, brackets and
condenser that all go with the car if you would like to hook it
back up.
This is a very nice and very hard to find ''OLD SKOOL HOT ROD''
that runs, rides and drives awesome ! It has a really good look to
the average guy who is looking for a good cruise night driver
however it does need paint to be a show piece !! Our plans are to
strip it and repaint it but we wanted to offer it to you ''AS-IS''
for a reasonable price while we are waiting on an opening at the
paint shop but ''DO N
