Chevrolet Corvette CSR Z06 For the 2009 model year, Chevrolet
announced an available special edition aimed at the enthusiasts;
the type of individual who takes their Corvette to track events,
driving schools and is more likely to take advantage of the
performance potential. Only 20 CSR Z06 Editions would be produced
from the factory making it one of the lowest production special
edition Corvettes. They were only produced in two colors Silver
Blade or Black and only 10 were produced in each color. These "CSR"
edition cars would be outfitted with competition grey stripes,
unique wheels, blacked out headlamps and Corvette Racing "Jake"
decals throughout. There is substance here, the CSR Z06 is powered
by LS7 7.0L producing 505hp backed by the Tremec 6-speed
transmission. The LS7 engine can propel this Z06 from 0-60 mph in
3.6 seconds. This Z06 CSR features leather interior, articulated
sport seats, premium audio system, CD player and heads-up display.
Visual mods for both versions include Competition Gray stripes,
upgraded wheels and headlamps. A set of racing numbers was also
delivered to the buyer based on the particular car's build
sequence. This particular 2009 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 CSR is one of
only 10 in produced Blade Silver and build #07 in the production
sequence. It was originally delivered to the Corvette Museum in
Bowling Green, Kentucky by the original owner. Having been
collector-owned since new, the car is in great condition with only
7,650 miles showing on the odometer. Included in the sale are its
original Chevrolet CSR introductory package, owner's manuals and
