example comes in a spotless carousel red paint job complemented by
a clean saddle interior. Powering the Trans Am is believed to be
the numbers matching 400ci V8 motor mated to a turbo 350 automatic
transmission. Both the engine and transmission are believed to have
been rebuilt. Standard features on the vehicle include power
steering, power front disc brakes, functional heat, A/C, stereo and
more. This vehicle comes to us from an elite private collection and
as such has always been properly maintained and store. Some of the
more recent maintenance includes a new Magnaflow muffler, new upper
and lower control arm bushings, new ball joints, new tie rod ends,
new brake hoses, new calipers and rotors, new fuel tank sending

Introduced in 1970, the second generation Firebird was only
available as a fastback coupe. Designed in tandem with the
Chevrolet Camaro, the Firebird was a popular halo car for the
Pontiac range. Government regulations started killing muscle cars
in the 1970's left and right. However, Pontiac kept producing the
Firebird Trans-Am with specs that were on the edge of legality,
with perhaps some fudging of some horsepower numbers. Of course,
Smokey and the Bandit made the late 70's models a highly desired
and iconic piece of cultural automotive history that still hold
mass appeal to this day.
