Vehicle Description
1974 Volkswagen Type 181 Thing (2019 Bug Jam Calendar Car) This two
owner Volkswagen Thing has been restored nearly 100% mechanically
while maintaining its rugged looks. The car is mostly rust free
except for two small areas on the rockers in front of the rear
fenders. The floor has been repaired using sheet steel so it's very
strong. All mechanical and structural components were repaired,
restored, and refurbished. The engine is very special, originally
built by Classic Camber of Pinellas Park and featured in Hot VWs
magazine. It's a 1776cc balanced and blueprinted motor with many
Gene Berg parts - runs great! Car was also featured in the 2019 Bug
Jam calendar. I have spent the past 5 years building this car with
my kids and had a blast, but now it's done and time for a new
project. New parts added: • Disc brakes, all lines, master, and

spotlights, taillights, led backups • Rebuilt front beam, all new
