This 1924 Ford C-Cab is a fresh build with a terrific color combo,
four-wheel disc brakes, and serious big block muscle on display. So
while the design is already going to attract plenty of attention,
this one also has all the right pieces to really be your favorite
all-around hot rod.
Everything has a crisp and clean look because there's barely over
100 miles on this build since completion. But don't forget that
"clean" also rhymes with "mean." This is a matte black machine
where the satin finish feels like it's inhaling the light around
it, and at the same time, it draws extra attention to the cool
C-cab design. And the way the big motor is set back in the frame
gives this a great stance that looks like speed pushed everything
back. There are even cool takes on classic pieces in the
detail-oriented design. You see it in the upright windshield that
now has a low-cut single-piece design, and the vintage slotted mag
wheels have a polished presentation that make them look modern.
This one has a style that's meant to stay open to the world. That's
why the distinct copper streak on the outside also coordinates with
the dashboard color. And the flame-kissed steering wheel and tall
shifter are pure hot rod cool. But a C-Cab is also about giving you
more comfort. After all, the wide-swinging rear door leads to a
cargo area that's perfect for loading up some chairs and a cooler
for the car show. So you also get other comfortable pieces, like a
tilt steering column, a full set of back-lit Dolphin gauges, and an
AM/FM/CD stereo that has an aux input and Bluetooth.
Another reason to love this build is the monster motor on display.
There are nice shining details, like the big air grabber and Moroso
valve covers. Plus, we really love the Jack Daniels overflow bottle
for the right touch of old school fun. More than just look cool,
you're going to love the power that comes from a 454 cubic-inch big
block that has been bored to 460ci total. It has been built with
new cam lifters, pushrods, double roller timing chain, and 1.7
roller rockers. Plus, it has a Holley four-barrel carburetor,
Weiand aluminum intake, Accel ignition, an aluminum radiator with
electric fan, and headers that feed directly into those growling
side pipes. The TH350 three-speed automatic has a 2400 stall and
mild shift kit for the ideal powerband, and it feeds it all to a
9-inch rear with Moser engineering axles w/spool. The suspension is
a true hot rod setup with hairpins up front, and ladder bars with
coilovers in the rear (and have you seen the cool iron crosses
supporting these?) It's a powerful package with upgraded stopping
power, too, thanks to the four-wheel disc brakes.
This is a fresh and detailed build of a distinct street machine. So
if you love a cool big block hot rod, this is the one for you. Call
