For Sale: 1932 Ford Roadster in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Vehicle Description

This ultra high quality 1932 Ford Roadster offers features and engineering beyond those of the traditional highboy. The Dearborn Deuce all-steel body was extended a full 4 inches. Certainly not an easy task, but it enhances the appearance and ride quality of the car while providing another important benefit. The top can be folded down out of sight for a much cleaner look, and for extra protection of the top itself. The windows are all glass, and of course they are power operated. Another outstanding feature is the custom stainless steel fuel tank. You'll notice it doesn't protrude out the back as in other deuces, but is tucked underneath, again for a cleaner, more finished appearance. Those subtle mods surely make this car stand out, but what's not so subtle is the House of Kolor Candy Tangelo paint with airbrushed multi-colored flames. It strikes the perfect balance between modern and hot rod traditional. Stance is everything in a street rod, and this one strikes a great pose with its Dearborn Deuce chassis and Superbell dropped axle. It handles nice with rack & pinion steering and coil overs all around. Four-wheel disc brakes provide more than enough stopping power. The engine is the tried and true Chevrolet ZZ3 crate motor with aluminum heads and an Edelbrock carb on top. The 4L60 automatic is paired with a 2300 rpm stall speed torque converter. This helps the launch and keeps the lightweight Deuce from creeping. A Lokar shifter has the perfect look for this application and provides solid control of the shifts. The final touch is a sturdy Curry Ford 9-inch with a custom cast aluminum housing that evokes the legendary quick change units in drag and sprint cars of years past. With a build of this caliber, high quality wheels are a must. Billet Specialties offers these 5-spoke forged beauties with a respectful nod to tradition. The interior is sumptuous black leather with subtle orange stitching to tie it in. Vintage Air assures passenger comfort with its famous heat and air conditioning system. It's comfy, it's quick, and it scores high in the appearance department as well. A 1932 Ford Roadster of this caliber is a rare treat. We invite you to find out more about it at Maxmotive.
