For Sale: 2017 Ford Mustang in Ft Worth, Texas

Vehicle Description

Ford's Mustang has been a slam-dunk for the company for more than 50 years, and one of the best things about cars like this 6the generation 2017 Ford Mustang GT Premium Convertible is that they still represent a huge amount of style and performance for not a lot of cash. Compared to a brand-new Mustang, this 39,479-original-mile GT ragtop represents a huge savings, and with a kickin' 5.0L Coyote packing 435 horsepower, it's every bit as fast. Pretty cool, right?

Wearing a sinister coat of Jet Black paint, this is a grownup's Mustang. It's handsome, aggressive, yet subtle, and thanks to fanatical ownership who bought this as his dream car, it's in wonderful condition throughout. Of course, the aggressive look is bolstered by the aggressive hood and deep chin spoiler, giving it the ideal blend of form following function. The highest praise we can offer a car like this is that it's practically like new, and that pretty much covers this Mustang. You can tell that someone loved it because the finish is deep and lustrous, the product of a lot of hand waxing over the past few years, and obviously it has never been hit or damaged. They skipped any of the usual stripes, although those hood vents and the built-in rear wing certainly look sharp, as does the rear diffuser with incorporated dual exhaust tips. The redesigned front end of this generation was heavily influenced by Ford's Evo concept car, the fog lights in the grille recall the factory GTs of the '60s and yes, the famous vertical bar taillights are sequential, just like the Shelbys. It's like the greatest hits of the Ford Mustang, all wrapped up in a single ragtop.

The special-order Saddle and Black leather looks fantastic inside the all-black bodywork, and if you look closely, you'll spot very intricate stitching on the seats, a nice upscale touch that really makes a difference. This Mustang GT is loaded with just about every option you could get, from power seats, windows, locks, and mirrors, to a powerful HVAC system, cruise control, and a quick-witted 6-speed automatic transmission. Silver accents on the dash and steering wheel look high tech and there's not a bit of faux wood to be found anywhere. The gauges resemble those found in a '67 Mustang, complete with the tall, narrow font on the gauge faces and the three-spoke wheel is wrapped in more luxurious leather. A touch-screen entertainment system with navigation is easy to use and remarkably effective and it converts from closed ragtop to open convertible in a few seconds. That black canvas top is unmarked save for a few wrinkles and the trunk is like new, with plenty of room to accommodate most travel arrangements.

The return of the 5.0 was big news, although this is no '60s relic. No, the Coyote V8 is a thoroughly modern DOHC V8 that cranks out 435 horsepower in the Mustang and makes the most wonderful exhaust sounds this side of Maranello. The engine bay is dominated by the strut tower brace, which stiffens the ride in the heavier convertible version of the Mustang, and the rest of the presentation is just as it looked leaving the factory floor. Stock and unmodified, which is exactly what you want to see in a second-hand Mustang with low miles. It's also just as spotless under the hood as it is outside, more evidence of a finicky previous owner. Maintenance was properly done at the dealership, so the car runs, drives, and feels virtually new. The transmission shifts imperceptibly if you're going easy, but stomp on the loud pedal and it snaps to attention and cracks off rifle shot upshifts that bark the tires. That Coyote motor is STRONG! Thanks to a Ford Performance exhaust system, you can hear that wondrous exhaust note in full-bore stereo and thanks to a standard fully-independent rear suspension and factory Brembo brakes there are no worries about keeping it in check. Upgraded 18-inch wheels were part of the package and they carry fat 235/50/18 Michelin radials with plenty of tread left.

Documented with all of its original factory manuals, this is an opportunity to own a high-quality late-model Mustang with zero vices. Call today!
