1966 Chev Caprice 2-door hardtop. Wow, first owner and second owner
were neighbors. Second owner as a kid was there when adult neighbor
brought it home for the first time. This kid grew up with this
awesome beauty. When the first owner grew old this neighbor kid,
now an adult, was so happy to acquire her. Only 38K actual miles
with original owner's manuals and even warranty card. Original 396
4 BL 325HP (10.25:1 compression). So very peppy, yet nice MPG
(especially with highway gears). True black beauty with excellent
original black vinyl top (paint code A=Tuxedo Black and B=black
vinyl top). One correct excellent refinish by second owner.
Excellent original chrome and stainless. Both bumpers have the
optional bumper guards. Very straight with sweet solid body top and
bottom. Sought after optional full center gauges (way cool). Always
garaged, maintained and pampered and shows it. Even original
factory metal fender skirts for that luxury look. Power steering
and ordered with optional sweet turbo 3-speed automatic (most were
2-speed power glides). So attractive!! Ordered with factory
silver/blue buckets and console. When she was refinished all new
correct interior was also installed. Trim code 831B=blue and
B=buckets and console. Nice radials (drives nice). Dual exhaust and
sounds just right. Full tinted glass ordered without A/C ($2k more
with A/C). There are lots of 66 SS Impalas around, but not true
black Caprices with numbers matching 396 turbo. Go to any car show
and you will have the only one and people will look at your Caprice
with great jealousy. This lady is simply gorgeous. Take delivery
