Vehicle Description
The places you can go and the things you can do means this 1970
Dodge D-300 dually is a versatile classic. After all, it can not
only tow the toys to the car show, but since we rarely see anything
like this, it can steal the show all on its own!
Do you have a business to promote or just want to make a splash at
car shows? Imagine parking this vintage Mopar at your front door
and/or taking up two spaces at an enthusiast event. People will
marvel at this Dodge's well-presented condition because most of
these heavy-duty D-300s were purchased to be lifelong workhorses.
Instead, this has a nice glossy white presentation that allows you
to see details, like the pinstriping accents, elegantly rugged
diamond plate side steps, and the bright chrome grille. And this
one does far more than just appear like an industrial tough
machine. You have two locking side storage containers, plenty of
bed storage, a headache rack, a full steel bed, cab running lights,
and a trailer hitch. So this vintage Dodge is still ready to earn a
living today.
Just like the exterior, the interior has some great upgrades
without losing its vintage workman appeal. For example, you still
get a bench seat, but now it has comfy cloth inserts for where you
sit. There are nice driver-oriented upgrades, like the auxiliary
gauge trio and a Grant three-spoke steering wheel on a tilt column.
Plus, everyone gets to stay happy with nice upgrades like an
AM/FM/CD stereo with aux input and cold-blowing modern R134a air
conditioning. And while this Dodge's imposing size should make the
traffic part for you, if that's not enough, there's also a
five-piece air horn.
Under the hood is Dodge's mighty 383 cubic-inch V8 topped with an
Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. So it's the kind of Mopar muscle
you want when there's a trailer attached. Plus, you have good
supporting components, like an aluminum radiator, newer belts, and
steel braided hoses. The A727 Torqueflite three-speed automatic is
one of the stoutest units Chrysler ever build, so it's an ideal
pairing here. This feeds a 3.54 limited slip rear end, so that
means a rugged construction and good low-end power. Add in power
steering, power brakes w/discs up front, and proper 8-lug wheels,
and you have a capable and easy vintage hauler.
This is the perfect total package for work or play. But what's
really impressive is that something this unique is also priced
within reach. Call today!!!
