For Sale: 1968 Chevrolet C10 in Arlington, Texas

Vehicle Description

1968 Chevrolet C10 Pickup

Classic Pickups have always had a following and out of those the C10 line by Chevrolet is easily one of the most sought after. In fact, not only are there clubs out there devoted to the C10 but one of the biggest shows in the area is the C10 Nationals at Texas Motor Speedway and is dedicated to the appreciation of these pickups. This beautiful C10 long bed has been fully restored to original and is in excellent condition. It is a double threat with both great looks and great drivability. Plus it has a well documented past and has been kept all original. It comes with its original paperwork as well as the protecto plate indicating it was factory ordered with power steering and air conditioning. The paint on the truck has a great finish and is done in its original Light Green and Pale Yellow colors which were what this truck rolled out of the factory with. It is clear that this paint was laid down by a professional because not only does the finish indicate good prep work but the gaps and fit of everything is spot on. All of the chrome as well as the stainless trim was replaced in the build and has a beautiful finish. It wears all of its factory emblems and the Chevrolet lettering on the tailgate has been painted white. The glass is all in good condition and tinted. There really isn't anything to critique on it. The truck was just built right. The concept of the Pickup itself was to provide transportation while also giving people the utility that comes with having a bed. With a Black spray in liner this truck won't shy away from work despite its show ready appearance. So if you are looking for the best of both worlds....you just found it. It has its original stance and looks perfect riding on Corvette rally wheels with beauty rings which are mounted under all four corners.

Getting this C10 rolling is the original 327 V8 motor that runs extremely well. Everything has been purposely kept looking very original with the only noticeable difference being the Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor topping it all off. The combination of Chevrolet Orange with the Black snorkel air cleaner are just like you would have seen at the dealership back in 1968. The stock exhaust manifolds have been powder coated to keep their good looks for many years to come and deliver a great sound through the original style exhaust that exist behind the drivers rear wheel. The truck runs nice and cool even in the Texas heat thanks to a large radiator and fully shrouded fan. The TH400 3 speed transmission shifts just as it should and transfers power back to the 12 bolt rear end. The stock coil suspension system gives the truck a nice ride and a majority of the undercarriage components are all painted Black. As mentioned before it has factory power steering but power brakes have also been added making it a classic truck that anyone could comfortable drive.

The interior is just as nicely done with no expense spared in making it look as factory fresh as possible. Any metal surfaces are all painted to match the body with the upholster work being done in Black. The bench seat is in great condition and features Black edges with Houndstooth inserts. It along with the carpet and door panels all look like new. On the dash you will find the factory layout with all of the original style features. The instrument panel has restored factory gaugs, all of which are working properly. The stereo has the original look but is a more modern unit that has AM/FM radio and is also connected to a CD changer that has been hidden the glove box. The AC/Heat controls are factory but the system has received a R134a refrigerant upgrade so it blows nice and cold but is also easy to be charged when the time comes.

This C10 is in great condition throughout and ready for a new home. You couldn't build one like it for our asking price and that isn't even including all of the originality and documentation that this one comes with. If you wanted one of these originally back in 68 but never had the opportunity, now is your chance because it looks like it just rolled out of the factory!

This C10 could be yours for $34,750.00!

NOW REDUCED DOWN TO $28,500.00!
