This lovely truck has been in the same family since 1950. Yup, 70 Years.
Had some basic restoration done in the early 1990’s. Rear fenders were replaced with Fiberglass, and the engine and tranny was swapped with a comparable from the same time period. Added a heater core and a couple of safety fuses to keep everything rolling. Millage is off on the odometer, estimated the total mileage on truck is around 50,000 miles TOTAL. Odometer was fixed and reset in 1985, so that is the current mileage since 1985. Comes with a 100 HP Flathead V8, and a good old double clutch manual transmission. Tires are newer, good tread, not cracking. Just like any 71 year old, she has a few flaws too: The windshield wiper (singular) has a vacuum leak and one of the head sensors doesn’t give a signal output.
