For Sale: 1939 Ford Deluxe Coupe in Central, Virginia

Vehicle Description

1939 FORD DELUXE CONVERTIBLE COUPE. This car was restored by standards of the 1960's. The body has never been off the frame, hence the panel fit is still perfect as is the door fit. This car retains its original floors / zero rust ever. The factory correct Pheasant Red lacquer paint remains excellent. I purchased this car at the former owner's estate sale in 2009. Former owner "Ronald Van Kregten" was the founder of the "Pacific Technical Institute" in San Jose, CA. He was an immigrant and has a fascinating life story. He was a self made man. He also owned and restored the Howard Hughes "Sikorsky S43 flying boat." This 39 Ford was one of his favorite drivers. This has also been one of my favorite drivers for the last several years. The flathead is equipped with Offenhauser aluminum performance heads and intake. It has headers, dual exhaust and a 1956 Mercury four barrel carburetor. It has been recently serviced and has had the brakes overhauled. It's fun, fast and reliable. The top has some stains, but otherwise the car presents itself extremely well. I had bought it to keep but I just have too many cars. Museum stored in Central Virginia. . Email: [email protected] / cell 215-906-7001 (call or text).
