Second owner wishes to sell his 1974 VW Karmann Ghia. This was a California car until 2018 when I purchased it. It has not been driven in the rain or snow during my ownership. It has been garaged in a heated garage for the past two winters.
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO RUST ON THIS VEHICLE! It is in Condition No. 2 to 3 with some minor nicks and dents on the exterior. New interior parts include the soft padded dash panel cover, complete new carpeting and new foam seat padding and new seat covers. Original mileage is 60,000. It has the original 1600 cc engine with matching numbers. The ignition has been upgraded to electronic. The underbody was sprayed with a lanolin type preservative prior to each of the last two winters as a precaution. This can be seen in the photos.

Valve clearances have recently been adjusted. The vehicle runs extremely well and starts instantly at the turn of the key. The battery was replaced last summer. The vehicle comes with some replaced parts and a new set of exterior replacement gaskets. Everything is operational on the vehicle except for the clock. A 12 volt cigarette lighter socket has been installed under the dash to accommodate the use of modern electronics. Front brake pads are new. Rear brake cylinders and shoes are also new.
