We are pleased to present this 1951 Chevrolet Deluxe Convertible.
This is a two owner car. The second owner bought it in April of
1963 with 61,000 miles on the odometer and now it has 112,000 miles
which is documented with the paperwork. For the last 57 years it
has regularly been maintained the vehicle with a surprising number
of new old stock (NOS) parts and has even more that go along with
the vehicle to its new home. The interior is original except for
the seat covers that were installed in 1965 and is in good shape
except for a rip in the driver's seat and some wear on the door
panels, but no bad for being just shy of 70 years old. The paint
looks great and has metallic that is really turns heads.
Mechanically it retains its original "Blue Flame Six" engine mated
to a "Powerglide" 2 speed automatic transmission which were rare at
the time. Both engine and transmission perform as the should and
both have been documented as rebuilt. The white convertible top was
replaced in the late 60's and operates as it should and is also in
very good condition for its age except for the foggy rear window.
In 2014, the car was freshened up with body repairs, new fender
skirts, new wiring harness, new window rubber and electric fuel
pump among other additions. In 2019, the engine was overhauled and
with new timing gear and gaskets, and the body was cleaned up
removing any rust and was repainted to match the correct Fathom
Green color. Several accessories have been added over the past 50
years such as bumper guards, locking gas cap, back up lamps, fog
lamps directional signals, tissue dispenser, portable spotlight,
rear seat speaker, spotlight with mirror and many other accessories
we are not listing here. We have loads of documentation and
receipts dating back to 1963 and original owner's manual and
service guides. For more information you can reach us at
