1951 Ford Club Coupe. This car regularly trophies' at numerous
local shows, and was featured in Car Kulture Deluxe magazine (Issue
89). Car is in excellent condition, engine runs cool in hot
weather. A/C works well. There are no known mechanical, or
electric, issues with the car. This is a partial list of many, of
the main features and improvements on the car. Stock. No chop,
section and /or channel. Other Frenched headlights. French tail
lights with stock '51 lens. 102 louver in hood. Shaved door
handles, hidden truck hinges, shaved trunk latch.'54 Pontiac side
molding, reverse mounted. Grille center bar from '54 Ford.
Windshield and door glass replaced with NEW safety glass. 305 cid,
SBC, 283 core with a 305 crank. Intake and Carb: Summit dual plane
manifold with an Edelbrock #1406, 600CFM, 4 bbl Carb (new carb
installed 4/19/2019). Mallory distributor rebuilt and rewired with
a Protronik electronic point conversion unit. Radiator: Champion ,
3 pass, custom aluminum (installed new 3/4/2019). 700R4, four speed
automatic. Rear: Ford 8". Exhaust: Dual exhaust , custom piping
from manifolds back. Flowmaster mufflers. Please note that the
entire wiring harness and components are all new ... wiring,
components and fuse panel. Stock suspension, retrofitted with Power
rack and pinion steering. Suspension- Rear: Stock configuration.
Related Note: the entire suspension has been rebuilt and realigned
including new brake: drums and shoes with cylinders re-built.
Bushings and shocks replaced. Front and rear brakes are drum type.
Emergency /Parking brake cables replaced. Front and rear tires are
Coker P205/75R15, mounted on 15" stock type rims. Hubcaps: 1948
Cadillac Sombreros. Front and Rear are stock configuration with
custom upholstery. Stock with a (Jeep) speedometer cluster,
aftermarket oil pressure, water temp, and Voltage gages. A/C
console mounted in "old" AM radio location. YES it has A/C ....
Audio: AM/FM, CD and MP3 unit is mounted under dash.
