We are pleased to present this 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. This is
a true SS with 138 in the VIN. It had a power swap to a 454ci V8
but retained its original 4 Muncie speed manual transmission that
is connected to a 12 bolt posi rear end. Done in a traditional red
with black stripes that are not original but ads a great muscle
look. It was originally a Butternut Yellow but we can forgive the
change since we really like this color combo. The interior is all
new with new seat covers, new carpet, headliner and dash pad. It
has new wiper motor, washer pump. For convenience it has power
steering and power front disc brakes and new drum brakes, lines and
cables on back. It has a new gas tank, new suspension with Hotchkis
front and rear sway bars, 4 KYB gas shocks, new engine wire
harness. It has an updated digital radio and you can get in and go
right now and cruise to the tunes. It is not perfect and will need
a good bit of TLC with the body to take it to the next level, but
with the bones of a true 68 SS with the big block, new interior and
all the other goodies, it should be worth the investment. We can
