This beautiful Beck 356 Speedster Replica just arrived! Built in 2006, this is a very high quality build done by Beck in Indiana who is known to build a very high quality car. Beck builds their cars on a custom tubular steel chassis and custom seat pans. They do not build their cars using VW pans. It is titled as a 1957 Beck Speedster. It had one owner up until late 2017 when it was traded to a restoration shop for the restoration of one of the owners other Porsches. Gorgeous Silver Blue body in excellent condition. A few very small rock chips that would be expected but overall this car looks fantastic. Overall fit and finish is probably as good if not better then the real deal but obviously at about 1/10th the price of a real one. Doors shut like a newer Porsche. This one has a cool pair of leather straps on the front trunk area giving it that vintage look. A nice set of fog lights with yellow bulbs is mounted on the front bumper. All of the trim is in excellent condition as well. This one will draw a crowd wherever you go!
Navy Blue leather interior shows very nicely with only minor wear. Navy blue full length tonneau, boot cover, convertible and window inserts. The Tonneau cover has 2 small holes. Original styled gauges adorn the simplistic dash. Speedometer and odometer read in Kilometers. Mileage is currently at slightly under 10,800 miles. Very nice woodgrain steering wheel with Porsche horn button emblem. Bluetooth stereo under dash with speakers mounted in footwells. This Speedster does have heat. Nice set of Coco mats finish out the interior.
Originally ordered with a 1600 cc dual carb. motor, the original owner decided to upgrade it about 3000 miles ago with a super strong 2110 cc dual carb putting out an estimated 125-135 hp. The power increase is noticeable and this is a very fun car to drive. Front disc brake stop this Speedster with ease. Freeway flyer transmission makes this car fun to cruise at highway speeds as well as great acceleration around town. Front trunk has full size spare. Tis Beck Speedster is turn key ready to drive and enjoy. OR take it to your local shows and cruise-ins if you can handle the attention!
