We have a completely restored 1940 Ford Deluxe for sale here at
Skyway Classics with an eye-popping shade of blue and a tan
convertible top. This car has been beautifully restored by a
professional builder and was a true labor of love.
Mechanical
Under the hood rests a 312 cubic inch Ford V-8 painted in red with
a tri-power setup sporting chrome air cleaners, red finned and
painted valve covers, tubular exhaust leading out to a dual exhaust
system, SCS Frigitt Air Conditioning, and an aluminum radiator with
electric fans.
The engine sits in a very clean, painted, and detailed engine
compartment and the underneath and chassis is also re-done and
modified.
This V8 has good power, as well as a terrific ride with its power
steering and a smooth-shifting 3-speed manual transmission, and
front disc brakes, this one is ready to be your favorite
cruiser.
Interior
Our 40 Ford has a brand new custom retro two-tone tan/dark tan
split bench seat interior which has all power including the
convertible top, windows, trunk, steering & brakes, frenched power
antenna, power shut-off, inside hood release, electric clock,
wipers, billet door handles, and parking brakes.
This is a quality interior and everything has been done to make
this one of the best interiors we have ever seen on a street
rod.
Exterior
This was a quality restoration of a 1940 Ford Deluxe Convertible
with all Henry Ford Steel body that was a frame off restored build
with a very high quality blue paint scheme that has a great gloss
and depth that really radiates in the sun light.
The chrome, trim, running boards, window glass, and everything else
must be seen to appreciate this car. It rides on custom 5-spoke mag
wheels and black-wall tires give it the correct period look
too.
