Cadillac Series 62 for your consideration. In 1949 Cadillac
introduced a new motor to the Series 62, the 331ci overhead-valve
V8. This new motor was often paired with a four-speed Hydra-Matic
automatic transmission like this example. Reports claim the new
engine setup brought this land yacht of a vehicle up to 60 in
around 16 seconds when new.
Old Cadillacs are some of the most beautiful and recognizable
classic cars. Whether it is the fins on the later years or the
swooping body lines of the 40s, classic Cadillacs will always be
appreciated for their exceptional designs. This Series 62 remains
in very original condition as the exterior shows. The paint shows a
lot of wear and fading but is believed to be original. The interior
is also highly original as well. While cosmetically this vehicle
isn't perfect, it runs exceptionally well. It starts right up,

This specific Cadillac Series 62 was sold new out of Paramount
Cadillac in Hickory North Carolina, where it was well cared for by
a single family for 20 years. It would then be bought back by the
dealership and sold to a General Motors executive who kept it in
